Top Marks for Heat Recovery Installers

Burton upon Trent ventilation supplier Vortice has given top marks to Barratt contractor Linkwood Services for heat recovery system installation excellence. Linkwood is installing Vortice HR200 Evo heat recovery units in 189 new Barratt homes at Artisan Place in the heart of Harrow.

The development, just 13 minutes by tube from central London, is being built with the latest energy saving features and the Vortice ventilation products are one of a number of energy saving ideas, including smart metering.

Vortice Technical Manager Andrew Dickinson said: “It was a delight to see how well Linkwood Services are carrying out the ventilation installation. Our technical team had worked hard to specify the most energy efficient ventilation design possible for Artisan Place and Linkwood kept our master drawings on site so that their team could refer to them at all times. Their use of self seal ducting has also made the job easier to install and the householders will be rewarded by great energy efficiency.”

Punto Evo - low noise fan

Noisy bathroom fan? Why not have a better night's sleep with our Punto Evo low noise fan...  Surveys suggest that one reason bathrooms are steamier than necessary is that people are turning their ventilation fan off because of noise. Punto Evo has a delayed timer option so if you don't want the fan to run in the night, it will wait 'til morning before ventilating the room.
